Acceptable use policy

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all use of ContextBoard, including the web application, REST API, and MCP server. It supplements our Terms of service.

You may not use the Service to

  • Upload content you do not have the right to process, or that infringes another party's intellectual property rights.
  • Attempt to access another organization's workspace, documents, or data, or probe, scan, or test the isolation between workspaces without authorization.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the underlying parser, extraction, or ranking logic of the Service, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by law.
  • Circumvent rate limits, quotas, or authentication mechanisms, including by sharing API keys across unaffiliated parties.
  • Use the Service to generate or process malware, or to build tooling intended to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to other systems.
  • Upload content that is unlawful, or that violates the privacy or publicity rights of others, beyond what is necessary for your own lawful document-processing use case.
  • Use the Service in a manner that places excessive load on shared infrastructure to the detriment of other customers.

Sensitive data

If you process protected health information (PHI), payment card data, or other regulated data categories, you are responsible for classifying the relevant extraction schema fields appropriately and for ensuring your use complies with applicable law, including entering into a Data Processing Agreement where required.

Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access for confirmed violations of this policy, consistent with the Terms of Service.
